NMPP Office Building
The new home for NMPP Energy holds 30,000 square feet on two levels providing office space, conference area, and a hardened control center assuring that NMPP can continue to deliver utilities in the event of a natural disaster. The high performance exterior envelope utilizes rainscreen cladding in a range of materials including: ipe wood, slate, zalmag metal panels and fiber cement panels. Interior spaces enjoy views and natural light, creating a comfortable office environment for it’s 50 employees to work and interact. Geothermal energy, high efficiency mechanical and lighting components and high performance envelope contribute to low operating costs. The building leads by example when hosting the regional conferences for the nearly 200 utility member communities.
GlynOaks Plaza is a 30 acre mixed-use infill project with commercial and retail uses designed by Peace along with Hampton Enterprises and Rega Engineering. The NMPP building is Peace’s second building project at GlynOaks Plaza, closely following the construction of Frontier Bank.
